UPDATE 29 July 2010 - HTCIA reports that LIGATT's Gregory Evans has been removed from the speaker's list. HTCIA (eventually) did the right thing. I am happy again.

ReplyDeleteI wonder how the other speakers feel about being on the same card as Mr Evans? I suppose HTCIA is benefiting to some extent from the buzz around this topic, and some folks might attend the conference to see the train wreck if he is allowed to speak. Others (like me) might choose to avoid the conference if he remains on the speaker list. I think the right think to do is tactfully and diplomatically withdraw him as a speaker.
ReplyDeleteI am in agreement with you. Most of all Gregory Evans appears to be benefiting tremendously. Since then, he has launched a new web site and accomplished various other deeds for society’s security while surfing the internet. Gregory Evans is phenomenal and very smart.
